My Experience as a web developer and education.

- Building a custom learning management system.

- I'm helping build both the frontend(plus mobile app), and backend of the system.

- Also helping build the mobile app which uses React Native & Expo and Tamagui for universal styling.

- Maintaining CI using Github actions(Running tests, & running linters to catch common errors).

- Building and maintaining the database schemas using PostgresDB.

- Submitting app to the apps stores.

- Built new components library to replace the old, consistency was improved and code duplication was reduced with the new components.

- Introduced static analysis tools to code base to improve overall quality of code.

- Added new features and maintained internal and client facing apps using React, NextJS, Tailwindcss and MongoDB.

- Building and maintaining medium-size to large e-commerce solutions for our customers. All solutions where based on Magento and Magento PWA(React).

- Planed, Developed, Tested and Documented advanced e-commerce solutions for clients. Worked with a large team of developers and designers to deliver a high quality products.

- Had an opportunity to work with medium to large sites like , Edgars.co.za, Pandora.co.za, Incredible.co.za etc.

- Maintained and built new frontend features for online stores from Figma designs using knockoutjs, SCSS.

- Assisted the lead developer with implementing the front-end application. This included the optimization of the existing frontend in order to achieve a better mobile experience and developed a small automata-based game.

- Tech stack used the PWA app was, React & Tailwindcss.

- I was responsible for turning requirements into some basic designs then translating those into working code.

- The position was a 6 month contract.

- Worked with a team of 3 developers and 1 designers to build out a new website for a client. This included the development of a custom CMS, development of the frontends based on Figma Mockups.

- I maintained frontend websites deployments, deployed on Cloudflare pages.

- Helped maintain SEO for frontend sites, and improved Google search Impact by 30% in some websites.

- This is where I got the fundamentals of some of the computer Science concepts. I have learned a lot of things during my time at the university. I have learned how to work in a team, how to communicate with clients and how to work under pressure. I have also learned how to work with different technologies and how to learn new technologies quickly.
